They also make excellent rods for tempting other shallow water saltwater species found throughout Europe.The distinctive weave that can be seen on the Bassterra XT Sea Bass is created by Shimano’s unique Diaflash technology, which increases power and strength in specific areas of the Full Carbon blank.

On the lower part of the rod it is used to generate the power needed to cast lures to feeding fish at range, or to be in total control when playing fish close to rocks and other structure. On the tip section it creates increased responsiveness which in turn makes lure control more effective and fishing more enjoyable.
